Acne Diet

Acne works in many mysterious ways. It can be caused by diet, lack of exercise, dead skin cells, picking pimples, stress, and tons of other things. Some of which just aren't in our power to control. There are factors that you can control. Such factors are Diet, Lack of Exercise, Picking Pimples, Stress, and Dead Skin Cells.

Then there are factors that you can't control such as hormones, oil output by your skin, and other factories that aren't known to man. Your first step in stopping acne should be to deal with all the factors that you can deal with such as your Diet. This is the easiest to deal with acne. A good diet should include fruits, vegetables, grains, and certain types of meats. What you shouldn't be eating is Chocolate Bars, Sweets, Oily food, and pretty much anything else that isn't natural.

When it comes to liquids, water is key. You shouldn't be drinking Sodas and such. These Sodas contain too much sugar intake. Most sodas have around 28 Grams of sugar, along with your daily meals, this is too much sugar. Plus sodas are infested with toxins, that your body releases from your pores which results in acne. Not only does water lack in sugar, but the more water you drink, the more you have to go to the restroom. This is where you will release your toxins. You should be drinking 9 cups of water daily and only water. Do not drink juices either, most of them have tons of sugar as well. Some contain the same amount of sugar that soda does. If you simply can't stand drinking water, drop a lemon in it and this should give it a slight taste, that shouldn't affect your intake of sugar.

Happiness is Your Choice

To have a joyful and happy day one does not have to indulge in hours of meditation and mood altering situations. Everyday brings issues to deal with and challenges to meet. Our list of things to do can be almost any size. Some of us work and some do not. We all have many responsibilities and things that need to be taken care of on a daily basis.

Most of us follow a ritual of daily activity, and we follow a similar pattern most days depending on our lifestyle. If there were a magic wand that could erase problems and difficulties I would gladly wave it in front of you every day.

Today in our current society we are busier than ever. It takes longer to do some of the most mundane activities, even with our speed injected world. Computers with programs we can pay our bills, e mails taking the place of hand written notes and not to mention the ipods, blackberrys, GPS's. Fax machines and cell phones once extraordinary inventions are just old stuff now, and no longer are looked at as high tech.

After you spend many hours on the telephone pressing buttons to take care of a billing problem, you may be lucky enough to have reached a real human being. You think the problem is solved until next month when it appears once again. What about the cancellation notice of your insurance for no reason? What about the faulty merchandise you are trying to return? It is no wonder many of us feel frazzled at the end of the day regardless our work situation.

So what is the solution to all this craziness we are experiencing in our lives?

First of all give your self five minutes to meditate. That is all you need, and no fancy instructions. Sit quietly and breathe in four counts and out four counts. If there is music in the background it does not matter. Take about five minutes to write your intentions for the day. Keep it simple and be sure you can succeed in following them. The most important thing is to write all the things you are thankful for. This is very insulating and also reminds you of your wonderful life. If there are some things you wish to happen write them also, as if they are already happening.

Wake up and smile, stretch, smell the coffee (or tea) and get out of bed saying to yourself "thank you for another wonderful day and opportunity in life."

Tantric Massage - Healing Body and Mind

Tantra massage is one of the most unique forms of massaging. It's also something that's not readily available everywhere you go cause of the fact that it demands a certain form of specialization and professionalism. The masters who perform these massages, own both the basic and advanced principles and skills needed to perform tantra and meditation. The massage starts off with ancient Asian and Tantric rituals, followed by a state of meditation, focusing body and mind to allow complete physical and spiritual access.

It's important to keep in mind that a tantra massage is not there to drive away pain and fatigue, but to allow your hidden mystic energy to ooze out through your pours, bringing your body and soul in absolute synchronization with the universe. When adding or incorporating music to your tantric massage, make sure to pick something in the line of tantra or meditation. Records like these are rare but available.

Tantra Massage uses light, bodily and leisurely strokes to channel the energy and boost your body's sensitivity to a different world. Medium to hard pressure may also be wished to apply to sides of your spine, but other than that stick to soft and sensual using only movements in which energy arrives and departs your body.

Oils, lotion and creams all work well with tantric massages but try staying clear of scented oils or lotions which may distract and draw your attention to other things. The two basic necessity for this massage is music and a state of meditation. Tantric massage has proven to work for injuries, illnesses and even couples can take advantage of the amazing healing powers to increase closeness and spiritual well being. Tantra uses fundamentals like love, compassion and trust instead of sex.

The Best Relaxation Music

How do you choose the relaxation music that works best? You can certainly start by experimenting with many different types. After all, it seems likely that what one person finds relaxing another will find irritating. But is it all just a matter of personal preference?

Actually no. Though ones personal tastes enter into the equation, there are reasons that some types of music are more relaxing than others. For example, both science and the experience of many people point to the usefulness of baroque music for relaxation. Studies have shown that baroque music at 60 beats per minute causes your brain to produce more alpha brainwaves. Why does that matter? More on that in a moment. For now, here are some specific examples of good relaxation music.

"Harpsichord Concerto in F Minor," by J.S. Bach

"Concerto No.10 in F Major from Twelve Concerti Grossi," by A. Corelli

"Winter" from "The Four Seasons," by A. Vivaldi

"Canon in D," by Pachelbel

"Adagio in G Minor for Strings," by Albinoni

Often it's just a passage from these that has the most relaxing effect. In the first three examples above, the movements referred to as "largo" work best.

What other types of music help people relax? Light jazz (try Luther Vandross) works for some. Eastern music, like that which uses the Indian Sitar, is another favorite (try Ravi Shankar). Generic easy listening music with sounds of nature mixed in is a common choice as well.

Any of the music in these examples is relatively inexpensive. Even the best "sounds of nature" and "easy listening" relaxation CDs are usually no more than twenty-five dollars. However, if you're willing to spend a bit more, there is a more scientific approach to using relaxation music.

Altering Your Brainwaves

Some types of music work better than others because of what they do to our brainwaves. Our brains primarily produce brainwaves at 14 - 30 hertz (cycles-per-second) during normal waking consciousness. In this frequency range they are referred to as "beta" waves. Frequencies from 8 - 14 hertz are "alpha" waves, which are present when we are more relaxed. Around 4 - 8 hertz is the "theta" range, accompanied by a deeper meditative or drowsy state. Finally, during deep sleep delta waves (below 5 hertz) are produced.

Meditation stimulates the more relaxing states of consciousness especially if it is regularly practiced. The good news, if you don't have the time nor inclination to meditate, is that music which has been embedded with certain beats works in the same way. This is the basis for the newest brainwave entrainment technologies, based on decades of research. Simply listen to these CDs or MP3s with headphones and they alter your brainwaves, causing a quick relaxation response.

In other words, if you're willing to spend a little more, you get true relaxation technology. Also, these products generally have pleasant music for a background too (though some use rain or wave sounds). That makes them the best kind of relaxation music in my experience.
